It all started with a puppy....
Ces and Doug have been animal rescue advocates for several years. During 2020, when the pandemic hit, the adoption process changed. Instead of holding public adoption events, Ces and Doug had to personally bring the foster pups to their FURever families.
So the search for the perfect bus began and in July, DreamCatcher came into their life! The previous owner dreamed of setting up her own small business with a bus and the photo booth inside but due to some personal circumstances, she decided to sell the bus to Ces. She could not be happier to know that the bus would be used for animal rescue. Ces could not be happier to find out there was a photo booth inside her new bus!

Since then, The BeetleBus family has grown to an entire fleet of seven buses! Each BeetleBus serves as a blank canvas to #ElevateYourEvent. Whether a Photo Booth, Taco Bus, Ice Cream Bus, a Bed and Breakfast Camping Bus, Bridal or Groomsman Transport Bus, or Just for Fun - the possibilities are endless!

BeetleBus is proud to partner with HSDR as part of its efforts to raise awareness on the importance of animal welfare, including but not limited to, health and wellness, spay/neuter, family (and foster) readiness to adopt (or foster); as well as the value of volunteering and giving. To achieve this, BeetleBus will donate a portion of net earnings from events as well as run fund raising activities for the benefit of HSDR.
The mission of HSDR is to rescue animals from shelters or from a difficult situation, with particular focus on animals of young age who need human interaction and/or socialization. Our goal will always be to rehabilitate (when needed), provide basic training, allow proper socialization with humans or other animals in order to prepare them for life with their forever homes/families. Adoptive individuals/families need to demonstrate a history of responsible and caring pet ownership. If the family/individual does not have a history of pet ownership, the rescue will provide training/on boarding process. Our mission is derived from or passion and genuine love for animals. HSDR will always focus on utilizing our resources wisely in order for us to help as many animals as possible.
Our very first rescue...
Meet Stella. She was surrendered by a family who thought at first that they can handle caring for a dog. With four kids and handling life alone, Stella’s mom realized that it was best to surrender her to a rescue. Stella will need to be vetted, spayed, and get age appropriate shots. HSDR will provide consistent training of basic manners (maybe some tricks, too) to prepare her for her furever family!
